Import duties and taxUpdated a year ago

While we offer free shipping, your order may be subject to GST, customs duties, and other country-specific taxes.

You’ll see a tax estimate before you complete your order and will be contacted by UPS if you need to pay import duties, tax, or handling fees.

If you’d like more information on which duties and taxes apply in your country, we’ve supplied a quick guide below.

United States

Due to the US’s agreement with Israel, you’ll pay no or reduced import duties. While you won’t be charged import tax, you will have to pay sales tax in accordance with the laws of your state.

You’ll also be charged a $2.22 USD Merchandise Processing Fee.

Canada

While you usually won’t have to pay import duties, you may be required to pay GST, PST, or HST depending on the province you live in. Use this free government calculator to get an estimate.

United Kingdom

You will be contacted by UPS if you need to pay VAT or handling fees. You’ll receive a bill stating the exact fees you’ll need to pay.

The courier will normally hold your parcel for 3 weeks. If you haven’t paid by the end of this period, the package will be returned to us.

Europe

You may be required to pay VAT on the total value of your order (including shipping and customs duties) and custom duties on the gross weight of the package. Duties range from 0-17%, with the general tariff averaging 4.2%.

Some countries, such as Switzerland, also charge import clearance fees.

Australia

Australia Post will send you a notice that you will need to lodge an Import Declaration with the Australian Border Force before they can deliver your package.

Once your declaration has been assessed for duty and GST, you will be notified of the amount you need to pay. This will include an import processing charge.

If you’re a coach or tennis professional with an Australian Business Number (ABN) and are registered for GST, you can claim a credit for the GST you’ve paid when you file your next quarterly Business Activity Statement.
