Match ModeUpdated 9 hours ago

Every match is a chance to gather real insight, and that’s exactly what Match Mode gives you.

Starting a match

1. From the home screen, tap Match Mode.

2. Scan the QR code on the camera. Your profile will appear on the court.

3. The camera will calibrate by detecting court lines. Make sure there is nothing in the way and no one standing in front of it during the process.

  • During this process, the other player can connect by also scanning the QR code. If they do not have the Baseline app, you can add them as a guest by tapping the profile icon.
  • If you are running Doubles, make sure to select 'Doubles'. All 4 players can connect with their profiles, or be added as guests.

4. Tap ‘OK, all set’ to start play.

The camera starts tracking stats when the first serve is hit. If you’re just passing shots outside of match play, those won’t be registered.

Switching sides

When players change sides, tap the Switch Side button to keep stats linked to the correct player.

The camera will soon be able to auto-detect side changes.

Live match stats

During play, Match Mode gives you live stats between points.

Just tap Stats for a quick summary — including points won, unforced errors, winners, and double faults.

For deeper insights, Pro Stats shows how each player performs on forehands, backhands, returns, and serves. Check accuracy, net clearance, shot speed, placement, and positioning — all in one place.

Ending and saving the match

At the end of the match, enter the score and save the session. You can share the stats with anyone and review or download the full match video anytime on your PC.
